We had all been awaiting the release of the movie Liger since it was highly anticipated and because it was Vijay Devarakonda‘s Bollywood debut, promotions for it were particularly busy in the northern area of India. Writing, directing, and co-producing the movie were Puri Jagannadh and Charmee Kaur under the Puri Connects banner.As the movie was co-produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar, and Apoorva Mehta under the banner of first-rate productions, Dharma productions, there were a lot of expectations. On August 25, the film opened in theatres to middling reactions from the public. Vijay’s performance, however, amazed everyone.

Liger’s Cast and Crew

Beautiful actors Ramya Krishna and Ananya Panday, who play Vijay’s mother and girlfriend, respectively, are featured in this film. Ananya is making her Tollywood debut, nevertheless. A stunning actor that appears in the movie as a cameo is a boxing legend, Mike Tyson. Actors like Ronit Roy, Getup Srinu, Makarand Despande, Ali, and Vishnu Reddy are among the movie’s other cast members.

Liger: The story

As a boxer who battles with stuttering, Vijay is portrayed in the Sports-Romance-Action-Drama film Liger. The hero is seen competing for the national level Boxer’s championship in the first part of the movie and the international level in the second. He wishes to join the MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) and moves to Mumbai with his dream along with his mother.

 

Liger Movie OTT Release Date 

According to rumors, Diney+Hotstar owns the film’s rights, and on September 30th, the movie will be released on the digital platform. Despite the film’s mediocre box office performance, it is anticipated that it would perform well on OTT.
