“Mangalvaaram Movie” will debut on the OTT platform Disney+Hotstar on December 26, 2023. The movie has created a massive buzz with its first-look poster. Ajay Bhupathi, who debuted in Tollywood with the movie Rx100, directed the film. After the success of Rx100, Ajay Bhupathi ran a multi-starrer with Sharwanand and Siddharth, which turned out to be a disaster at the box office. However, the audience has declared “Mangalvaaram” a unique concept and a hit movie. The film will stream in all four languages, including Telugu, and fans are excited to watch it on OTT.

 Story

Coming to story details, Mangalavaaram is based in a small village that is filled with fear as people start getting killed in mysterious circumstances every Tuesday. Cop(Nanditha Swetha) to investigate the case.  The narrative takes us back into the flashback where a village belle, Shailu(Payal Rajput), is introduced. She falls in love with a school teacher(Ajamal Aamir) and getting cheated leads to dire circumstances in Shailu’s life, which is also interlinked with the deaths in the village.

Payal Rajput’s latest release, Mangalavaram, directed by Ajay Bhupathi of RX 100 and Maha Samudram fame, is a village drama that received decent reviews upon its release on November 17, 2023. However, due to the peak of the Cricket World Cup tournament, the collections were just about average.

As previously reported by OTT play, Aha has acquired the OTT rights to the film. We have learned that the expected release date for Mangalavaram on Aha is December 10, 2023, according to a source from the team. The date is almost confirmed, and an official announcement is expected from Aha soon.
